Catalyst Robot - an autonomous RFID inventory management system

The Catalyst Robot is an RFID inventory management solution. The device itself is an autonomous and mobile robot that automatically completes an inventory of any given space i.e. a retail store or low-ceiling warehouse.

The Catalyst Robot offers a higher level of inventory accuracy than the handheld readers. The movement of the device is synchronised with tag reading, in order to maximise the read rate. The Robot only moves after it stops detecting unique tags in any one position.
